I am a 43-year-old woman, mother of a 23-year-old daughter, and grandmother of three children. I was sentenced to 8 years and 11 months for conspiracy to distribute and possess crack cocaine. I've been in prison for 5 years and I've learned my lessons. The government is too harsh on these drug laws and there is no justice left.
