Sentenced in February, 1999 to 4 years and 8 months for possession of .02 gram of rock cocaine

I'm so proud of your movement and to see somebody standing up to all the 'Big Wigs' and telling them that we won't be fooled any longer about what they are doing to citizens in the name of "War On Drugs."

I'm one of the so, so many prisoners doing way too much time for a very small piece of (0.2 gram) rock cocaine. I was stopped for riding a bicycle without a light at night but I never got a citation for that. The cops approached me with guns drawn after I pulled into a gas station. In my attorney's Statement of Facts, radio communication preceded my arrest stating that a "black male adult" was seen riding a bicycle in the area. So they went on their fishing expedition, making me undress in order to search for anything illegal. The stop was an illegal detention and a violation of my Fourth Amendment rights (Terry v. Ohio and Knowles v. Iowa). This show me that here in my state of California, in the city of Sacramento, that the high courts don't mean squat to these who are paid to protect citizens. They are obsessed with the war on small drug possession. I leave behind four children and my wife who I love more than life itself. I would lose my mind if I should lose my family because of the government's illegal acts in my case.

My case in the hands of the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District Court of California before U.S. Magistrate Judge Gregory G. Hollows. I'm hoping the judge will right the wrongs done to me in this war on drugs.
