Sentenced to 8 years, 8 months -- Cocaine Conspiracy

I was a drug user since my teens. I've tried just about everything, but started using cocaine heavily when I was about 19 or 20 years old. My crimes revolved around drugs -- I'd do crimes when high, and to get high.

I ran into old friends and they had a steady, cheap supply of drugs. Eventually I was introduced to the Big Guy and before long was in debt to him. One way to get out of debt was to run some drugs for him and I did that about 10 times. I wasn't paid any money, just drugs for my habit, or a loan paid off.

I got more time than the Big Guy and all my so-called friends that made the hard, cold cash.
