Dion Johnson

I was sentenced at the age of 18 under the sentencing guidelines - ten years for a drug law violation based on what people said and no physical evidence and an extra 5 years because I had a juvenile record. I plea bargained because my lawyer told me I could get life in prison if I didn't. I also received a $2,050 fine so I work for Unicor in order to pay it off. Every other month I am able to pay $25 toward my fine and at that rate it will be paid off when my release date of October 8, 2011 rolls around.

I am imprisoned in Minnesota and my home is in Illinois so I never get to see my family. That part is very hard on me.
