Miguel Angel Segovia -- 75506-053

15 Years -- Methamphetamine Conspiracy

Miguel Segovia, prisoner of the drug war
I worked for the city of Des Moines for nine years before my arrest. My wife was a Wal-Mart manager and we were raising our three children together.

At my trial, others testified against me in order to receive promised favors by the prosecution. It was this coerced testimony that convicted me, for there were no drugs found on my person, nor in my home. There was no drug money ever found either.

I received a 15 year sentence for a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. By the time that I am released, my children will be grown.
